Hi, I just build this same kit.Trs7139 wrote:Lots of tubes so far
I just started in fact.
Did you met an issue with the tubes of the rear section ?
With my kit I have a little space to connect the two long straight tube to the big section who separate the engine to cockpit.
This space for both connectors tube is about 2mm. I Made two spacer with brass tube...
Did you have this kind of issue ?
Many thanks in advance.
Sorry for my English.
Cheers from France.

I have just refined the finished car and have a few nice detail shots.jaydar wrote:Very nice, do you have a picture of the car opened up??

Unfortunately any forum posting via my Apple devices result in ridiculously compressed images, not so with mail.
If anybody would like to see/Post them up send me a PM And I'll mail you a few sinceI have zero desire to become an IT maven over forum pics.

Sorry, I missed this. Yes I had a bit but not that much. What I do is make a form with tape and then pack with baking soda/CA glue.
Very strong, sand to proper contour and touch up with chrome paint to match polished tubes.
Cheers from France.
