Need help finding Michel
Hi All,
Can anyone remember several months ago, there was a guy in Brazil ( I think his name was Michel ) who had a seriously huge collection of kits which he decided to sell off?
I remember seeing pictures of his built up collection and he had row after row after row of superbly built models on display. I remember he also had black and white floor tiles arranged exactly like a chequered flag. Does anyone else remember seeing this?
I'd really like to get in touch with this guy to see if he might have that AMC Models Minardi M189 that I'm after.
I tried searching the For Sale forum but it seems that older posts are no longer visible.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Paul

I remember checking for the Minardi at the time and it wasn't listed.

By the way, what happened to the collection? Did he manage to sell? Where is it now? Such a collection should in fact be made accessible to a wide public, IMHO... some sort of museum... I guess I would buy a season ticket for sure!!! Even an online solution would be fantastic... just dreaming....

Re: Need help finding Michel
He started parting it out. The prices were a bit higher than I was able to afford but it was extensive.

Great!
gotta find an F1 modeling nut?
Welcom to the "Rick's cafe" of F1 modeling!
Good he decided to sell it by parts. Otherwise it's impossible...
Glad to see those gems will find good new homes.
