McLaren M23 (1:20 Tamiya)
Hey,
The next model i want to show you is the Tamiya McLaren M23.
This one is by far my most elaborate model in 1:20.
I cut off the frontwing and repositioned it, I changed the front suspention to have a more realistic look, the windshield is completely new so I had to change
the cockpit surrounding to fit the new windshield. I removed the batterycase and the dummy radiator in the sidepods and I scratched a rearlight.
And of course I added a lot of etched parts, wires, fittings, rivets and other details.
I also used MFH rain tyres to display the Fuji version of James Hunts car.
Painted with Zero Paints pure white and M@r!b*r* red.
I made a wip but only in german. It is a little bit mixed with other McLarens. KLICK

That is a lovely build. Congratulations. A couple of questions:
What paint did you use for the red? From the WIP it may have been Zero Paints? Also, how did you do the gold pin striping on the edge of the red? Decal?
You have certainly come up with a great result.
Cheers
Tania
