senninha,
Your work is awesome.
Can you share your technique for the orange on the undertray? It is so realistic looking. Do you know if the orange a carbon compound or something else?
Thanks
Mark

Good morning, thx again for your very kind comments, its always a source of motivation.
And sure its no problem to share the technique.
1st: priming the undertray with white and grey primer, spray also a bit of black in some areas
2nd: decaling the undertray with scale motorsports carbon fibre in amber or kevlars in yellow
3rd: clear coating with 2k
4th: waiting
5th: use a 600 grid sandpaper and make some scratches, you will see the white and grey primer.
6th: spray some clear blue and clear red on several scratches.. sanding again and repeat the procedure
7th: use some other colors (i used amber, black, ceramic grey from zeros) especially over the bright (primed) areas
8th: clearcoating again, but only a light shine like semi matte coat
8th: make some very soft scratches and the semi matte coat disappear and the shiny clear coat appear
Repeat the steps 5 to 8 untill you r satisfied with the result
The last step is taking a small brush and adding fine hairlines with thin black color
Sounds complicated, but its fun

Re: 1:12 MFH McLaren MP 4/5B - Sennas 2nd Championship
Good afternoon from Germany, thank you again for your kind replies. Achieved some progress during the last night. I was able to add some little details like cables and some rivets. Also i want to show you my first totally brushed carbon work on the side pods, therefor I used the MFH decal templates (don't know what their name is ) and some cellulose.
@jaykay: It was horrible to glue the engine to the monocoque, MFHs plan doesn't work right. I worked almost 4 hours to bring the both parts together.
here are the pics.
brake button was added
hope you like

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep it in mind when i come to mine
Yours is looking very good anyway!
Are the v-stacks really slightly pink or is that a colour temperature effect from the digicam?

They are burnt violette, its an effect that comes from time to time after qualifying, and i want to bring it in one of my models

Amazing piece of art!
Nicely detailed and clean build, still love what i see, you hit the look of the sidepods very well with it`s texture!
