Wow very nice build!!
What paint system did you use for the body parts? Looks like a perfect match.
For my 1:20 mp4/9 i used RAL3024 luminous red wich i understood was the original color code mcL used.
But what a beautiful build man!! Love it
Hein

Perfect paint job, realy like it! Lot of work you have put into this job, it was worth all the effort, can see it with naked eye, plain crossing line to the red, well polished out......simply awesome!
Take a stand!

Thank you very much, and yes that was a lot of effort, nearly three weeks of clearcoating, thrilling and polishing..

What a beauty. Superb.

Yes such paintjobs are allways time consuming when done in such perfect way, quiet often i leave the painted parts for weeks till i start sanding and polishing. Best result pops out if you leave the parts for 3 months, then the paint is fully cured and absolute solid. Did you polish by hand? On such large parts i prefer machine polishing, a bit lazy but it brings the best result when using 2K clear. Did the same with my real car, fully sanded till all structure was gone and then machine polished, only difference to a model was the time effort
Sounds realy good with the new scanner

I see the best results after sanding and polishing if the clear coat is fresh, that means not older than 36 hours.. i didnt see differences between 2 days drying and 2 months.. but i think it depends regarding the circumstances.. temperature, mixing ratio (thinner, coat, hardener)..
My first attempts were unsatisfying concerning the sharpeness of the red areas.. so much little accidents.. so i was forced to try it again and again...

This is so good! I can only hope my 1/20 version turns out a fraction of this quality!
Whats next for you? Another Senna car?
Really something to be proud of!

Thank you very much, my next projects are the MP4/4 in 1:8 and 1:12 and my personal Highlight the MP4/6 again in 1:12.. this will be my "whatever it takes model"
and just for fun the MP4/8 from Tamiya.. though i think about the MFH in 1:12.. but the last MFH Kits are not as good as their first ones like the MP4/4.. especially the MP4/5b seems to have partly unsolvable fitting issues.. im happy to solve nearly 50 % of these issues..
