Ferrari 312PB 1973 Le Mans - MFH 1/43 (Finished)
Re: Ferrari 312PB 1973 Le Mans - MFH 1/43
Nice progress George, should it be an option to extend the cowling at the front edge? The wheel house would move backwards this way and the wheels are maybe better in position.
A real hard time this one!

Thanks for your comments.
Guido, this an option. I 'll check it.
In general, the wheels on these 312's, are in the rear of the arch and not in the absolutely center. This, make it more tricky.
Here a photo:
The kit is not bad at all. Of course, need work to fit property but is something you must wait for it. And is more accurate than MFH's 1/24 versions.
Not an easy one but not something impossible to build.

The progress goes surprisingly fast on this 312, but before putting some paint on it, more preparation work needed.
This time I check almost all part to see how they are fit. To do this, black double sided tape used. Then, I re-primed the main body parts.
For the end of this, I change the way of the wheels mounted. This is more realistic and steady (hope show).
All the best

The main chassis follows. As you remember I glued the main body section to chassis, to secure the fitment. So masking needed to paint it. Then I add the radiators, the details inside the cockpit with some hoses. Here you are:
This is for now. Next time you 'll see build the gearbox and the rest of the chassis.
