Montreal 2016!!!
It's Thursday, so it must be "Open House Day!!!!
Ok first off, the weather sucked. Here's hoping it gets better for the next three days! (If not, spare a thought for me in the rain at Île Notre-Dame!)
The podium is ready, as always. I rather like the backdrop. Too bad it'll be covered up for the podium ceremony...
That never changes...
Life is good at the very sharp end of the pits...
I asked the guy "What? No Ultra-Softs this year???" He just laughed...
Believe it or not, Red Bull still have a lollipop as a fall-back solution!!!!!!!
Here's hoping the guys in Yellow will get some fuel before the race!!!
Sauber are soldiering on...
Meanwhile, at the formerly sharp end of the pits...
The new guys are in town (and they brought their very own bus shelter)!
Slightly closer look at the front end of the Mercedes...
...and of the Ferrari...
Fingers crossed at Williams (which doesn't help with the work, I guess)...
Complex front break air intake at Force India...
Opposite side...
Tight quarters at Renault...
"But I'm sure that's where I dropped my contact lens!!!!"
McLaren doing its best...
Front brakes on the MP4-31...
...on the MRT05...
...and on the VF-16.
Tight quarters on the C35, too!
Front brakes at Toro Rosso.
Another peek at the Renault...
Bold logo at the end of the air gun poles!
A last look at the Prancing Horse for today...
Could this be the C36????? Or is Ericsson not taking any more chances with passing his teammate?
Whatever the case may be at Sauber, after Monaco, Red Bull are taking no chances with tire placement/storage!!!!
The Williams track-side Command Center is ready!
Close-up of the Renault front wing for this weekend.
The Scrutineering Bay, immaculate as always...
(Cue the theme from Jaws...) The Wall of Champions is ready to welcome the unwary!
More after free practice tomorrow.

Hi Jeep,
Thanks for the pics from Canada.
I liked the new Sauber at least that one won't break easy if hit another car
Enjoy the weekend!
Cheers,
Starr

Re: Montreal 2016!!!
We are driving to montreal tomorrow AM.....will be sitting in grandstand 21 on saturday & sunday.
can't wait!!
Amazing pics. Thanks for the pics. The brake assembly on F1 cars is a work of art.....as is with many other components...The front rotors looks so delicate for what it does.
