Hallo again,
I finished the next step: soldering the barge boards. After bending the brass sheets (it's not easy to manage it without kinking) the two front suspension struts were soldered first.

Then I fixed the barge board in the right position at the car and soldered the upper rear strut. Resin is more heat resistant than PVC in the common plasic kit , so you can Keep the strut at the car while soldering.

The front barge board was done in the same way.

I used 0,8 mm brass tube for the struts. At the real car the struts are flat. So I pressed them with the pliers flat after applying the base colour. I need no primer here, because I will apply the Alclad Aluminium colour on the pure brass.

Next step will be the rear suspension with the anti roll bar.

Hallo again,
meanwhile I finished the time-consuming cf-decaling on the bottom and the wings.

Next was a little progress on the rear axle. I asked myself where do the two chromed bars on the top of the gearbox, to be seen on the most picsbelong to. There was no doubt about, that they are part of the anti roll bar, but most of it is covered by the upright of the huge rear wing. Finally I found the solution in the book from Umberto Zapelloni: Formula Ferrari.

So I constructed the part from alu and brass sheet.

Lookin' better every time. This'll be deserving of its name -- a museum piece!

Cheers, Chris
