GB Turbo Era - Ferrari 126C2 Turbo Imola 1982
Cheers mates
With this post I also start my building activity in the F1m forum. Although I´m a member form quite some time, due to my master thesis I had to fully stop to build my models.
Now that I´m almost 100% free, I finally have spare time
So I´ve decide to enter in the group build with a model I´ve started some years ago, the Ferrari 126 C2 Turbo from Fujimi, at the 1/20 scale, of the infamous Imola Grand Prix version.
I also have the USA West version, famous for it´s rear wing that caused the desqualification of Gilles Villeneuve from the race ( if I have time I will also finish this one).
These models are part of a list of my unfinish models that are waiting in the stash...
I already had some work done (engine, rims and tyres, some pianting job) and some detail in the engine:
Engine:
Rims:
Body:
I will start from this point the participation.
Regards
Tito

Hello to you all.
I´ve been working on this car, despite I didn´t post any photos so far.
So, the body painting is going well, and meanwhille yesterday I returned to the engine to put some extra wire on it. I had to dismount the turbo of the upper part for it. I also note it that some parts were broken, so I had to repair them...

More developments soon.
Ps: It´s great to return to the hobby. I feel great
Regards

Welcome back! Nice way to get back into it with the 126C2. Your work on the engine, with the additional detail looks great, like you never left the hobby .
Looking forward to seeing more.
Cheers,
Chris

Have a look @ the LongBeach nose, the one in the kit is wrong. You would probably need the nose of the monaco version, or try to use the second nose of your Imola kit.
Good Luck!
