1/20 fittipaldi F6 -ACE
Hello everybody,
I am opening this second WIP topic, it is more fun to shift from one model to an another, then come back....
I started with a trial. I vacuformed the headrest the aim is to get a more realistic part. I am happy with the resut!!!!
Like the shadow dn9, the conception of this kit is quite surprising.... But now, i know the way to proceed
See you soon for the first steps!

Great start Jean-Paul,
I don't have this kit but the Fittipaldi Team has a special place in my heart! That's why I'll follow your w.i.p.
Thanks for share it

Nice idea vac forming the part. Did you use the original resin part to make the shape from?

That's good vacuum forming! It will make the finished car much more realistic!

Yes! I just drilled some holes to help the melted plastic sheet to conform the resin part.Terry wrote: Did you use the original resin part to make the shape from?

Now, I know what the building strategy will be: make a single part from the upper and lower part of the body.
This kit has (almost...) no representation of mechanical parts. The most complicated assembly is the front suspension. So you can easily imagine that the main work will consist in body shaping.
First work: create the engine bay, styrene and milliput are my friends!!!!
It will be a kid game to cover the engine with a metallic mesh
To be continued....
