Revell Ferrari F2007

Post by monkeytennis »

Here is one I'm working on at the moment. I have made a start, putting all the parts together for a dry fix.

I have glued the air intake, HANS device, the little winglets on the top of the air intake and side-pods to the main body ready for painting, I'm going to use Tamiya Gold TS-21 followed by Tamiya Clear Red TS-74 as suggested my other modellers on here and see what I come out with. Just waiting for some decent weather to get outside and start painting.

I cant be bothered to paint the engine as it isnt visible on the finished model but I will paint the exhaust exits as they are.

Nice day today so managed to get outside and do some painting, only my second time painting after the McLaren yesterday.

Went for the gold underneath and clear red on top

Hard to get a decent image but I think it looks good, possible a little too dark but its shiny and smooth which i'm happy with for only my second time painting.

Hi,

The paint job looks great! Painting clear over a base coat is not that easy to get an even thickness layer. Yours looks very good.
