Re: Tyrrell 008 WIP
Happy new year? Well I don't feel to happy right now.
There have been problems getting Tamiya tape in Sweden for a while so I tried another brand. I read some reviews that said id was great and didn't lift paint.
I used this narrow tape in the colour demarcation and covered the rest of the white with a wide Tamiya type of tape. Well the picture talks by itself.
So now it's off to the town hoping to find paint and tape playing Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry Be Happy.

Re: Tyrrell 008 WIP
I can imagine you are not very happy! That takes quit some time to fix, hopefully you can find the right tape and continue. Good luck!
Re: Tyrrell 008 WIP
ouch..but I don't think the tape is your main problem, although te Tamiya tape is low tack the problem is that you NEED to
sand your resin very well..At least that is my experience

Re: Tyrrell 008 WIP
Removing that tape must have been worse than pulling out hair from a slowly removed bandaid... Oh jez ow ow ow ow ouch ow ouch. Hope the patient gets better soon.
