Would have been nice if the boat kit was in 1:32 scale, then you could use the lovely tamiya merlin ;)

Love it...Your doing a great job. :)

I've had one of those sitting around for many years, seeing your work sure makes me want to finally build it.

I was happy with how the masking job came out, but all day I wasn't happy with the width of the white line....it was too wide.....so I went back and redid it and thinned up the width. It's a lot better now....a lot more accurate now!

That's dedication... Looks awesome.. I love these oddball kits...

I have my eye on the recently re-released 1/24th scale Revell Simba 8x8 Airport Crash Tender. I had one years ago - sold it on before I ever built it, but it was very cool, and VERY big....

This will be the best version of this model ever built! Nice job! Like many of us, I also have a passion for hydros and saw many classes run over the decades. Since this was a 1/25 huge boat, I put a 1/12th Matra and bike rider figure in one to make it a smaller hydro. Early 80's I have one new one on the self, and one Dumas mahogany boat ready for a Matra as well.

What happen to my 1/12th Protar Mp4-2 model?? I cut up the top bodywork to fit it to this model. The life of a kit basher

I forgot to update this.

I got most of the decals on! Michael P. helped me out on most of them and they are AWESOME! Thank you so much it really made my day! I just need to fix the side of the cockpit and add the driver signature and some chrome edges around the boat. also need to fix some parts of the paint job....the gold is really hard to fix as it comes out different shade when you try to touch up small spots.
