Nice reference photos. Yes it is quite hard to see the CF pattern in the parts. Certain areas look like straight lines instead of a weave.
I tend to go with 1:24 CF decals on 1:20 kits.

Will you paint with another colour the hose joints and the parts that the manual says tamiya X-13, metallic blue. I think is a little dark and tamiya X-23, clear blue, a little imprecise as well...
Thanks,
R.

here is what I would do or what I plan to do when the time comes to build this kit. when it comes to hose joins I plan to clean in bleach solution to get rid of all release agent then washed in water to clean bleach off (do not do this with bass or the part will corrode).let part dry and air brush black then chrome silver. use tamiya clears and paints applied by brush for details remove part as needed to assemble touch up if need be. all other resin part will be clean in the same fashion and subject to painting either on the tree or off and touched up. just that simple.
hey guys I still dont see any photos of the mp4/4set being used yet and the icon contest is still open....anyone start yet? post photos if you like to share

I just started this kit and this PDF file is helpful. Right now I am still on the engine block. I am modifying the lower suspension to make it more accurate.

I looked at that...those exhaust headers and turbos are just unreal...well, really real! Can't wait to do this one. It has to wait its turn, though...

The progress on the Top Studio site is amazing. I'm just wondering, who is going to start a WIP here from the MP4/4 with super set.
