Hey Mate - I was asking R10 for some FW24 tyres recently and was told they are out of stock. If you find any, please let me know as I need some for my MP4/20 =)
....
I've just received from HLJ the spare parts tree of FW24 ( 1 of each version : black and chrome ) including the wheels : no problem , it is still available.

Try again.

Bye

Time for another exercise in procrastination....

OK, the afforementioned front suspension got an R3 makeover as much as possible. The F2001 had the front upper wishbone and steering rods exposed whereas the Jaguar R3 has an Aero shroud covering both pieces together, this had me headscratchin for a while but I found a reasonable way to make a convincing enough cover from a simple house hold item, a drinks straw... a Green one nonetheless, can't get much more suitable than that..
I flattened the straw out somewhat and glued some styrene at the nose ends and shaped the wheel ends.. Sanding, shaping, primer, filler, paint and C/F and here is what we get, you can see from the pics its not far off the original so I'm happy to go with these.

That is the Story of my R3 front suspension in detail...

Now, almost there.... :D

Now, that's how conversions should be done. Great Job ! Very good attention to details.
Good luck with the rest of it.
