Re: Mclaren MP4/2C 1/12 protar
When the car is done and in the case it will have the wheels on ,but i can't leave some thing that is so grossly wrong alone ...it cries out to be fixed and 1/12 cars are fun to detail for me with my bad eyes.

I'm also going to build the Mc Laren MP 4/2, I'm planning to build the Lauda 1985 version. If it is not to much trouble "goodyear" can you also help me on these photograhps?

Thanks "goodyear" for the quick response. The photo's are indeed great value to improve on the kit. Again thanks!

You'll have to remove (not attaching them, better said) the add-ons for the radiators exits, fill the triangular cut off on cockpit sides near mirrors, and change a few things. Suspension is OK from austrian GP onwards (before it had the big rear rocker arms) so you can easily do the dutch GP last Niki's win version. Also needed some decals, tag and so on. IIRC they were also included on the sheet?westra wrote:I'm also going to build the Mc Laren MP 4/2, I'm planning to build the Lauda 1985 version. Oh and again, for all versions, the front wheels are just not good. Lickily the all black finish disguises the problem
PS: excellent array of pics, "GY", but it's a 1986 car labelled as Lauda's 1985 car... (obviously i mean the ones posted outside f1m, the ones of a real car!)
