Thanks for all the nice comments guys.BigDuke6 wrote:great build chris - love your attention to detail... whats next?!
Duke,
The first thing is to finish a Tamiys Nissan GT-R, which I had started prior to the Speed Build, and little-by-little have been working on throughout. After that I have "a few" options, but my primary considerations are:
March 701 - MFH
Ferrari 801 Long Nose - MFH
Ferrari F60 - Tamiya
Brabham BT50 - Tamiya
Ferrari 312B3 - MFH
Ferrari 312T/T2 - Hasegawa
Williams FW30 - S27
Ferrari F2007 - Fujimi/S27/MFH
Ferrari 248F1 - Fujimi
McLaren MP4/11 - S27
Force India VJM02 - MFH
Really narrowed it down didn't I ? I'm leaning towards the MFH March 701. Any opinions?
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Speed Build : Stewart Ford SF-3
Hello All,
The Stewart Ford SF-3 is finished !! Honestly I can't remember the time-span of the Speed Build, but I think I met it.....somewhat of a modern miracle for me actually .
That being said, here is the final outcome. This is the best outcome for a m.m. kit, which I've built, being that the aero bits are pretty simple, and the color scheme is white. I didn't make any massive modifications, mainly adding cf decal, fasteners, seat-belts, buttons/switches and exhausts. Amazingly, it has four tires on the ground, a first for me , but the ride-hieght is a little "wonky" (to coin a phrase ), with the rear being a bit higher than the front...oh well, here it is. And into the cabinet, taking place of honor. All in all, a good kit of a great car. I've been wanting to build this for a loooong time, and you guys have once again motivated me to get something done, cheers to you all .
Cheers,
Chris

Hello
Congratulations! An impressive build! Those heat shields are really great
That Stewart is one of my favourite "recent" cars. Wish I could manage to find the decals and convert mp4/13 into that Stewart...
Thanks for sharing your work
Best regards

Very nice build!
Btw...if the rear sits higher than the front of the car that's in fact correct. That's how the real cars are set up ( venturi effect and such...) Maybe you just exagerated that a bit
