Great work you're doing, your patience and persistence are impressive. The templated tire markings look really nice.

Regarding the suspension, I would recommend to make the structural piecesout of aluninum tube/rod, as I think the styrene pieces will bend or break under the weight of the wheels and chassis. RB Motion makes great rod-end pieces, give it a look.

Well back again for a quick update. Been busy lately & have only managed to clear coat the decals last weekend. Got the dust sanded off & polished. Guess that will complete the cowling.
Have reinforce the rear suspension arm with paper clips as suggested by Chris but in the absence of hobby shop here am unable to get any materials to replace the broken rear suspension frame. Have tried cutting out the shape from the clear plastic cover of a name card box but this prove too brittle & split during sawing. Have also cut off several coils off the spring & glue the shocks in place. However the front suspension frame has decided to break on me & will have to work on the front now.
Anyway here's a sneak preview of the model.

If your "main problem part pc" is the issue (as per your photo) I'd suggest purchasing a jewlers saw (cheap) and cutting one from some brass/aluminium sheet. You can add the raised lip about the perimeter with strips cut from plastic card/sheet. Naturally, you'll also need to drill the holes and mount the suspension components with bits of wire or the like.

Greetings from Tanzania again,
Managed to sort out the rear suspension main frame by using the only polystrene sheet, that may be 2 decades old, that I have. Glued 3 slices together to get the correct thickness & then cut to shape. Got it installed & painted in a rush to get the rear "on the road" but yet to add in some bolt & nuts details. So far the paper clip rods are holding up.
Will start to "alcad" some engine parts & the rear wing end plates & get the rest install.
May heat stretch some q tips, slot a wire inside & insert the 2 end rings as replacement for the 2 broken front steering links. Hope it will works. As for the front suspension, will have to remove some coils from the springs & glue the lot down like the rear. Hope this will be the last leg of the overhaul.

Phew!! . Sorted out the front suspension after numerous failures. Got a flat plastic pc with a hole to take the shortened shocks absorbers & top it up with a polycap left over from my Merkava tank. 5 min epoxy then secure the whole lot.
Now it is stronge enough to take the wt of the car & is really on the road

Got the plumbing reinstalled with a bit of improvement. The radiators hose clips are made from wine bottle foil & strapped with masking tape top with stretch spruces. Will start to tackle the broken roll bar & some other nitty gritty bits next.
