Re: MFH lotus 97T
One question - are these CF decals included in the kit? I presume it's the new version(?) If not - what did you use? I have the old version and it's at the bottom of some other kits in a stack, so did not take it out yet to verify whether that has similar decals.
Looks great though, build, decals, the works!

Yes. But they are fragile. You shall use pale gold as "primer".SeaBee wrote:One question - are these CF decals included in the kit?

Re: MFH lotus 97T
Thanks guys for the replies. The cf decals come with the kit and are very tough and are not fragile at all, they take setting solution very well and lay down without any problems so far.

Re: MFH lotus 97T
Will have to check mine. I have the old version, but can't remember such decals... Sounds like some purse-shrinking about to happen... again...

Re: MFH lotus 97T
The old kit does not include the cf decals, the new kit is miles ahead (more details, perfect resin etc.) of the old release ... I think DM posted a comparsion old vs. new kit couple weeks ago!SeaBee wrote:Will have to check mine. I have the old version, but can't remember such decals... Re: MFH lotus 97T
Got the turbo's finished up and yes Lumpy I fixed the divot, a little ca and paint did the trick. The trans and undertray are now attached and the diffuser will need some touch up as it got scuffed up when I attached the undertray Wiring and a few small bits and will have the chassis complete.

Hi Gary, This is looking very good, love the CF decals and the JP* "beige/yellow" looks spot on.
Do the body panels fit ok? as most Hiro kits don,t.
All the best,Alex.

Hi gary,
if you have not applied any decal on the body, I suggest that you' better using the STRIPE decal indicated on the manual. Don't try to trim away the clear portion nor the extra provided SINGLE STRIPE. In order to prevent Silvering, you may have to make the painted body very smooth before application of decal. I have done mine with using extra provide Striple, but the result is not very good. This is very hard to make 2 SINGLE STRIPEs (One on Top and One below of JOHNLY PLAYER SPECIAL) parallel
