F1 Modeling/MFH Pictorial Summary : Rev. 19 <Updated>

Post by CBartholomew4677 »

Hello All,
As I am searching for good reference pictures for the Brabham BT46 for the 2009 GB, I found myself going through all of my F1 Modeling magazines to find pictures. It left me thinking "what a pain in my a$$...." So, in order to save time in the future, I made a summary of all the cars and pictures in all of the F1 Modeling issues that I have. I started receiving them from about issue #4, and missed a couple/few in the meantime, but generally, they are mostly there.

I've attached for any of you who are interested. I'm planning to update with the special editions when I have time. I'll post it for you when I do.

If you can't open, send me a pm and I'll send to you. I'm slow, so don;t be suyrprised if I don't answer right away.

I hope you find this useful also.
Cheers,
Chris

I am going to copy this into the main site... The other thing I might do is set the information up as an editable database on the main site so people can add information to it and search it easily. Its hard to describe, but I might give it a shot next week.

Thanks Eric,
I'll try to have the "Special Editions" summed by next weekend, and I can upload then.

P.S. - The search that spawned all of this yielded no pictures for the BT46.

Cheers,
Chris

Chris:

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I'm sure your efforts are appreciated by many here on the forum. Personally I own basically none of these issues, but with your list, at least I know which ones to go hunting for.

Cheers

Steve

that's brilliant thank you very much! I could add vol 1-3 or any others that are missing on the weekend. Chris maybe we can get intouch via pm or mail so you can post the complete list and we don't have to upload the file couple of times

Great work, Chris, THANKS!! I did the same for my personal reference but on paper.... including also the short lived "GP Modellista" magazine. If Eric put it as an editable database I can add my annotations to your list.

And oh yes, there's BT46 pictures in the issue #2, if I'm not mistaken - the list is at home...

There was another F1 index distributed at some point. Could have helped in a first place. Take a look.
I don't exactly remember where I got it from, I believe it is also from this site.
