Re: reference brabham bt24 chassis
Hi Leored,
Sorry No factory drawings or blueprints exist of this car .
I have the same set of drawings you have and have permission to scratchbuild a run of 10 only of them which I plan to build to scale 1/8th.
I have been in contact with Sir Jack Brabham and asked this exact question your asking . I have also been in contact with Brian Wilson who owns Chassis Bt24 1 , I will in due course be visiting Brian and his car in Sydney Australia for a measuring and extensive photographing visit .
I have however viewed the car in person and photographed it in detail several times at historic race meets etc.
I have held off on this project for quiet a while now but am soon to revisit it , if you would like a copy of my Images please Pm me and I will forward you my contact details.
Regards
Sean Morgan

Not sure if this is a BT24 or not - it's from a historic meet at Eastern Creek last year...

Re: reference brabham bt24 chassis
Hi Leored.
If you want to scratchbuild the chassis, use styrene rods, from Evergreen or Plastruc, and for the body, try a master in balsa, cover wiht fiberglass, or cover the balsa master with rubber silicon for mold, wait dry (or, "harder") fill the silicon mold with fiberglass or resin. I'm triyng to scrachbuild a Ferrari Tasman with styrene sheet and this way is very complex.
Good luck!
