WOOOSHH! - Nice once Chris - really smart build. Great use of carbon decals, heat shielding, steering wheel & turned parts. Any chance you can run through the additonal parts such as antennas & wheel nuts for me?

Makes me want to finish off the Williams ASAP now =)

Hello All,
Thanks again for all the nice comments. To give a summary of the extras and mods I made for this build, here you go:
C.F. Decals:
- Floor & Brake Ducts: S27 (Medium) toned down with Tamiya Smoke
- Wings : SMS 1/24 Twill Weave sealed with M.M. Metallizer Sealer
- Seat Middle : Hobby Design Twill Weave toned down with Tamiya Smoke
- Seat Outer and Cocpit sides : SMS 1/24 Hi-Def sealed with M.M Metallizer Sealer

Cockpit:
- Seat-Belts : SMS 1/20 Modern F1 p.e. with my standard belt material
- Buttons/Switches : Sakatsu machined aluminum, painted randomly to add some color.
- Steering Wheel : Spare parts bin from a Tamiya McLaren MP4/13

Fasteners:
- Body Fasteners : Hobby Design 0.5mm Flat Rivets (C)
- Winglet Rivets : Hobby Design 0.5mm Tapered Rivets (B) - I thought they looked best for this area.
- Front Wing Plane : Scale Hardware 0.5mm Brass Rivets with a good soak in "Blacken-It" to darken them.
- Front Wing Endplates : SMS p.e. screw heads
- Rear Wing Endplates : SMS and Crazy Modeler p.e. screw heads
- Barge-Boards : Crazy Modeler hex nuts - I highly recommend the Crazy Modeler fastener set.
- Mirros : RB Motion internal hex nuts recessed into the mirrors

Wheels & Tires:
- Tire Valves : RB Motion 1/20 tire valves
- Wheel Nuts : Painted the original machined nuts (blue and red) - I couldn't modify those beautiful wheels
- Tires : Original kit tires, spun on a rotary tool to give a woron look and round them out (they're pretty square out of the box :? ) - I wanted to use a nice set of MFH printed tires, but was concerned about getting the marking off of them

Exhausts :
- Heat-shielding : M.M. Stainless Steel with Tamiya Flat Clear
- Heat staining : Tamiya weathering kit, Burnt Orange and Oil Stain
- Pipes : Aluminum tube

Antennas:
Pitot Tube : Original kit wire bent with round nose pliers
Antenna : Hobby Design machined aluminum

Others :
- Skid-Plank : KA Models wood sheet (A)
- Cameras : Poached from an extra Tamiya Ferrari F2001, painted M.M. Aluminum Plate Metallizer and SMS 1/24 Twill Weave

Paint:
- Tamiya Light Grey Primer : 2 coats (to check for blemishes)
- Tamiya White Primer : 3 coats
- Tamiya TS-26 White : 4 coats
- Tamiya TS-13 Clear : 4 coats - 2 mist, 2 heavy (I think I'm the only one here who likes TS-13  )

Well, that's about all I can think of at this moment. Any questions or more information, let me know, I'm happy to share. :D
Cheers,
Chris
