brilliant!
I'll try to hand you some pics of the device. As someone -roly or smirkoff- pointed, it sports a triangle just over the fuel cap...
BTW by the dutch GP McLaren was using narrower rear tyres...

thanks Jacques, but as much as the build looks ok there has been an awful lot of scratch work compared to any other build I have done, just to get the thing looking reasonable, I will have more pics up tonight.

a little more progress...

decals on and most of the suspension added, I am going to be diplomatic and say that the suspension supplied with the kit was 'testing'!

Image

Image

I ran a little thinned medium grey into the panel lines...

Image

on the rear wing, the decal numbers for each side (no.7) were far too big for the endplates and I had to shorten both the top and bottom of the number just to get it to fit. I have just about got away with it but you can see it looks a little disproportionate.

Image

that should be it for the WIP now, the next ones should be the completed pics. Just the brake disks, wheels and windscreen and the remainder of the friendly suspension to bend into place, er sorry I mean fit into place, then a final coat of polish (Johnsons Klear)

looks really great, my friend! :) Good point, the thined grey on panel lines: it's better a shade just a bit darker than base. black would overdo it.
