Re: 1/12 MFH January 2024
No engine ,can't do it !! ... I notice on selling platforms all the studio 27 kits with no engine a popping up cheap , after you build one without a engine you will understand ....feels weird
Re: 1/12 MFH January 2024
I see the pic. of the engine & exhaust.....maybe an option to display separately on a stand?

They did it in 1/20, I figured this would be it.

Re: 1/12 MFH January 2024
They did the 2002 and 2004, all with engine detail including the 2003 in 1/20
A little disappointed but will get it
Have the F2000 (Matilde),2001 (MgModels-finished), 02 (Revell plus aftermarket), cars, crappy MgModels 04 (curbside) in process so welcome news , plus the F2007 and F2008 and F10
Now they have to do
Jordan
Benettons
Etc

Re: 1/12 MFH January 2024
I wonder if it's related to material limitations with resin used for body panels.
Could it be not strong enough to make parts thin enough to be true to scale.

Re: 1/12 MFH January 2024
No, that can't be it. They have done thinner undertray parts in 1:20...
And they've done bigger resin cowlings for sportscars.
And on the F2003GA the cowling is still not as tightly wrapped around the engine bay as nowadays.

Re: 1/12 MFH January 2024
I think they want to produce an 1/12 Ferrari, which is not "for experts only" to build as a beautiful model. They also did for instance the 1/12 FW16 Senna car as a curbside - simply to make it easy and fast for the non-expert to build the kit.

Eh, what? That's the first time I hear of a curbside FW16...
