Hey guys,

thank you so much for your comments. There was some progress the last weeks. I finished the bodyworks and clear coated the cowling with the new 2k diamond finish clear coat from Zeros... What should I say, it works perfect. The aim was a near to the original paintwork, that means not to much perfection.. its a car from the mid 80´s and its a race car, it hasn't to perform at pebble beach

Normally i polish the parts after 1 week of drying. But this time I decided to do it after 12 hours, for me it works..

Cowling fits realy nice, good job to get it all alligned, might have been some sleepless nights, but the result is great so far!

Hey jaykay.... you are right.. but i polished it not until concours level.. you can see this on the first pic, under the nose there are small tiny areas with a bit of (polished) orange peel.. like the original one..
