Not really... they should be six spokes, wich only the Williams has IIRC, at the rear. And then what would you put on the shoeless Tamiya...

I have Guido's asymmetrical rain tires for the Williams. If I could scrounge up another set of kit wheels, and used my original Williams tires, I would be covered for the 4/2 yes?

I can see the pictures.

There are some great pictures in the cloud, the Clearview ones are probably the best ones of the gearbox.
It’s always going to be difficult to get photographs with the design of the suspension mounts and the bodywork as tight as it is.
Regarding tyres, the Model factory Hiro tyres are an option and it is possible to buy Tamiya tyres through the spare parts service at times. I bought a box of ten sets of tyres for the McLaren/Williams/Ferrari kits a number of years ago.

I am sure there was a member of this forum who was involved in gathering info and photos for the three MP4/2 kits by beemax/NU NU/platz, he went by the name of The Hooded Claw or something like that, does anyone know if he’s still around and does anyone have an email for him?

I think It was the same guy that I occasionally spoke to at some of the model shows in the UK but cannot be sure of his real name now, I want to say he was called Ian( but I’m rubbish at remembering names)
I’ve tried searching members on the forum but come up with nothing.

There is indeed a member posting as The Hooded Claw but he's not been active here since Feb 2017.

I hesitate to post his name or contact info but it only took me five minutes to find that information.

I’ll try again but I put that name into the search for members and it came up with nothing.

I found him in the list and sent him a pm
