F1 Specialties looks nice but I fear it will fall apart when it touches water....that is what happened to my last F1S decals. I wonder why some old decals simply do that. Same issue with mayn SMS declas, even they are not that old. 20 Year old Tamiya decals for example will most likely stay in one piece.

BTW what happened to F1S ?

F1 Specialties was run by a single person. Norm, who sadly passed away several years ago. I had never really been in contact with him, but from what I read here on f1m back then, he was a great guy to deal with.

What decals do you have that are falling apart? I only know this problem from CF-decals that you have to cut yourself into the required shape.

I am looking for tags for 1989 in 1/20 scale, it seems that they were longer and thinner than the 1991 (MP4/6) stickers.

The one thing that has become apparent is that all the decals produced to date are black and white, all the photos I have found (at least for 1988/89) show that the top had yellow 'Goodyear' on a blue background and the DO NOT CRUSH at the bottom was in white on a yellow or orange background.
The tyre sizes (for 1981 to 1992) were indicated by:-
Fronts 25.0 x 10.0 -13
Rears 26.0 x 15.0 -13

I have found one photo of an MP4/6 at Silverstone in 1991 where the stickers are black and white as the Tamiya kit. Malc.

So I once digitized a few labels that I still found.

Upper row - all original stickers from tires digitized.
Lower row - left digitized decal by DecalPool, right original sticker of a tire from 1988.

I updated also this post viewtopic.php?p=344062#p344062 and added the dates/GP's of the photos.
So 1988 the sticker was orange and longer, 1989 and in the following year the sticker was B/W and with a bar-code.
At least so far, that is the current state of research.

If I could add to your research above, I have pictures in 1989 and 1990 of the long thin stickers, so I assume there was a cross over period where they used both styles.
This is at Silverstone 1989 - Credit Dr_Gn Mexico 1990 - not perfect, but to me this looks like the long thin one with blue and yellow/orange 1990 Spa Belgium black and white sticker with additional mystery sticker I agree by 1991 (MP4/6) only the black and white stickers were used.

To add to this there is also occasionally a different almost square white sticker added alongside the tyre tag Steinietrabi has drawn above, however none of the pictures I have found show what is written on this other sticker.
