That was such a difficult model to get it right. Also with the templates of the Mercedes logos for the crawling too. It was really smart for him to photocopy the templates and the decals to get the masking right too.Andrey wrote:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... cb0ZHzadk1lezdep wrote:If there is 1/12 kit of W11 or W10, I will not be able to resist. Have 1/20 W10 from NewScratch. It looks to be a decent kit. But I have to reserve final judgement until I actually
build it. Painting black gradient on engine cover is a major challenge.
Because it is a 3D printing model, so perhaps that might be the reason why there are literally no photo-etched part? It is kid of strange that you have to pay extra for the seat belt harness where every resin kits will supply one.acer709 wrote:I have bought one and I like it nice parts just bit annoying removing the pins from the 3D printing.

I am looking very forward to seeing what you have there in that W 10 ? I take it everything is 3D printed including Tires and Wheels ?acer709 wrote:I have bought one and I like it nice parts just bit annoying removing the pins from the 3D printing.

Will take a while to transform it for 3d printing...
Currently i'm working on a 1/8 Porsche 908/3
3d printing will be done by https://craftcloud3d.com/ - estimated cost for the Porsche are currently 800€ - cheap for a 1/8 model and printed in Resin.
The W11 in 1/12 will be ~ 300€ for the parts and the cost for decals...
Its a nice kit rubber tyres although a bitplastiksurgeon wrote:I am looking very forward to seeing what you have there in that W 10 ?
