Re: MFH 2019 " WISH LIST "
Now that Ferrari is gone, I wish they'd get back to the Lancias. An LC2 in 12th? Woof.
I also wish they'd get back into the 1/20 market.

Derek, I wondered what you meant, and after googling XJR-14, I came across this story: https://jalopnik.com/the-strange-orphan ... 1677120408Icon_Modeler wrote:As for the XJR-14, Never raced at Lemans, Not as an XJR-14 and never as a Jaguar.
Amazing story! Thanks for the tip that lead me to it.

A Sauber C9 is a big hole in the 1/12 Le Mans lineup.

The XJR14 did actually go to Le Mans with Jaguar in 1991 and I believe it turned practice laps, can't remember if they attempted to qualify, before it was withdrawn in favour of the V12 engined car. It was always the plan to race the V12 but Tom Walkinshaw wanted to try to get pole using the XJR14.flashman wrote:Derek, I wondered what you meant, and after googling XJR-14, I came across this story: https://jalopnik.com/the-strange-orphan ... 1677120408Icon_Modeler wrote:As for the XJR-14, Never raced at Lemans, Not as an XJR-14 and never as a Jaguar.

The XJR14 was a pretty remarkable car. I saw it at the '92 Mid-Ohio IMSA round, and will never forget Davy Jones, in a light drizzle, blow away the Mid-O outright lap record in Saturday qualifying. That was back when the IMSA cars turned lap times comparable to the Indy cars. Now with all the BOP restrictions, the IMSA DPI's are miles off the Indy car lap times.

Re: MFH 2019 " WISH LIST "
My two dreams are dead in the water for the time being, a Ferrari 412T2, and 333SP.
Sauber C9 would be cool, as well as a McLaren F1 GTR.
What I would love to see is a March 701 in 1/12.
Love this car, very cool shape. Built the MFH 1/20 version, and would love to see Hiro work his magic in 1/12.
Cheers,
Chris

Yeah I left 333sp off my list on purpose, as it’s top on my list especially with 3 years of them racing out of Houston with Risi

Re: MFH 2019 " WISH LIST "
Speaking of lost Ferrari's? The 512S/M series. One of the most iconic sports racers of all time, and it will be a 1/12 dream for now. It's hard for me to look at all of the incarnations of the Porsche 917 that MFH has done in 1/12 full detail, but completely ignored its great Group 5 rival. I don't understand that at all, but someone's whim's are what we guess at every month...
