Very impressive work Jean-Paul. I'll watch and learn a few things along the way.

Back to work with a huge task to get a more symetric body. With the help of milliput, saws and files, i finaly get the desired shape !

First trials for the windscreen. Future part will be vaccuformed with a clear plastic sheet.

Stll the same question in mind: why did i buy such kits ? But i don't want to throw it away ;)

Hi Jean-Paul,
Good to see you still working on this kit. I built an ACE Shadow some years ago and like you had to scratch build most of.

Jean-Paul,

I have about eight projects in a similar stage as your Fittipaldi. Keep going - you are winning! It's going to look fantastic, especially when it gets a hit of yellow. Fascinating subject - well done!

Hy guys,
Few work but huge progress !!!!

I make the last modifications to the rollbar and the opening of the cockpit.

The tamiya driver helps me to get right proportions for the model.

With the rollbar cover:

The nose of the ace model was wrong. So i reshape the nose cone and i make some modifications to the master devoted to the vaccuforming step.

The dashboard is created from plastic part and the dashbord of a fw07 from tamiya.

Now, the Model looks far better to my point of view ! ;)
