Finish line is in sight - need to build the rear wing, seat belts, exhausts & mirrors.. other than that, she's almost done.. polished up the body and added the rivets, they make a nice change from p\e rivets.

Great job. I especially like your CF work. Looks very convincing, imho.

Is that new 3D type CF decals from Studio27 ? Is "ss" even smaller ?
I want to try them myself. hlj.com says "s" type is not available anymore and
they don't show "ss" type at all. Where can I get "ss" type decals from ?

Mini wheel WIP..

1. Clear gloss wheels
2. Apply decals
3. Clear gloss again
4. Clear Flat

Please excuse fluffy debris =)

Beeaauutiful! You, sir, do fine work.
The CF is really smooth, very nice. I dig the body rivets, they break up the surface nicely and look nice, good choice. I've used Scale Hardware before, and he makes nice stuff.
Looking forward to seeing it all wrapped up.
Cheers,
Chris

Thanks for the comments guys - here's one of the last WIP shots, more of a teaser using a mirror I found out on the street =) The rear wing is seriously wonky, but too late for that now. The sidepod panel line is a bit stuffed since the decal seemed to shrink a bit.. oh well. Barge boards, mirrors & rear light are all that's left.

Sergey - The CF on the suspension is Studio27 "S" but I think "SS" would be better.

Looks great, almost there!! I don't quite see the wonkiness of the rear wing, seems fine to me. Glad to see it sits on all fours, mine ended up with a bit of a "limp".
Cheers,
Chris

Thanks Chris =)

The ride height on this is perfect.. about a double sheet of paper between the mirror and the plank and the rear diffuser isnt sitting on the floor (like mine normally are) and the front & back are even - a first for me.

As with any kit, there are good bits & bad - but coming home strong with only 2 pieces left to glue!

Hi Dukes,

Super work mate, sorry to read about the mishap with the spraycan but you seem to have re-covered (pun intended) :-)
Your CF work is brilliant...

Re: the Wheels WIP, are the clear / dull coats both Duplicolour lacquer?

Also, found a supplier here (in Oz) who can get similar rivets quite cheap. PM me if interested...

Cheers
