I saw what you said on your blog about how much time it takes to build big scale models compared to 1/43rd(your favorite scale). I think its also how detailed you choose to make it. Models like this masterpiece are on the high end of time, but the end result will be worth it. Curbside big scale models can be built almost as fast as curbside 1/43rd(atleast I have found that to be true). The big scale models do take alot more paint and material. I too love 1/43rd scale because of its jewel like presentation, but big does allow more detail in general. Also as I get older its harder to see 1/43rd. I know alot of builders switch over because of the eyes(I still have 20/20 or better vision).

This is a great beyond words model. I love it. I also love your 1/43rd 917K.
