Just reviewed my '88 video, "Honda....All Fired Up!" It contained a few close-up shots of the drivers in their cockpits.
Of note:
EuroBrun: blue belts with "arexons" on the pads (same as Ferrari)
Coloni: red belts with "Sabelt" on the pads
Tyrrell: blue belts with no letters on the pads (Detroit) At Japan, there was a small "Willans" running vertically along the outer edges of the pads.
Dallara: a brief shot of Caffi being strapped in showed "Sabelt" on the underside of the pads (explains why Dallara's belts had no markings as bossy122 stated earlier)
Unfortunately, there were no cockpit close-ups of Osella, AGS, Minardi, Ligier, or Arrows. The video was dominated by the spectacularly liveried marlborored and white cars and the other predominately red team.

Thanks JamesB....I didn't see the Liger listed in the "Kit Database" section but it may be an original issue kit (IDK)JamesB wrote:Yes, there was one by Meri ;If I can find a kit of the Ligier (if one ever existed Sad ).
Are they easy to find or a rare...Holly Grail discovery.
I loved how they look...looked wicked fast but the looks were decieving...in fact it was so slow & ill-handling it couldn't beat itself

Thanks jaykay !! IIRC the Ligier JS31would be the correct chassis for 1988...I gotta check this outjaykay wrote:Grand Prix Models shows a Ligier JS31 as an upcoming release by Total Model...if that's the right car because in the picture it says 1991!?
Seems to be available. On ebay.it a seller offers four of them
The only one I don't think was made from that year in 1/43 was the March 881 (Leyton House) but I hope I wrong !
