I have the same problem, there's just too much dust and dirt in the air. A few times I've seen a dust particle passing me by while spraying, heading for the model, as if it were a magnet, and landing on it

My solution so far is to sand away the particle using 12000 grit MicroMesh. That takes a bit longer because it's the finest grit, but the advantage is that you can polish straight after that, so the repair is fairly quick. Dust particles no longer stress me out too much.

Unless you have a completely seal paint booth, particles landing on paint surface will continue. We can reduce it but not eliminate it.

Actually, a sealed paint booth is something that I am pondering with.

I want to get one of these spray booths (they are sold out everywhere) but I think the waterfall will help a lot with dust.
