Re: Tamiya 1/12 YZR-M1
Having built a few MOTOGP myself I can see all the extras added on this project. Fantastic build from top to bottom.
What chain did you use? I did one Top Studio chain that drove me crazy!
What color of blue did you use?
I know you have a lot into this bike any other details you could provide would be fantastic.

Hello Jeff!
I used the Hobby Design chain with about 260 little parts and it took me about 4 hours to complete anyway i this it's worth the effort because the final result gives a very realistic looking to the model.
What else... The Hobby Design detail set that includes brake callipers, sensors, cable tensioners, chain adjusters etc. and a lot of some other photo etched parts. All the nuts and bolts were replaced for PE or Top Studio rivets and bolts.
I used Studio 27 carbon fibre decals to make all the carbon fibre pieces according to the real bike.
The blue is the real Yamaha Blue for this bike who's color code i don't remember now, as i use my own brand of paints according to factory color codes i just have to choose the color and i got it right as the real machine
As example see also my post with the Ducati GP4 painted with Ducati Anniversary Red.
The clear coat is a 2k also of the same brand of mine.
Any comments please let me know
Regards
José Martins
