So... no. And as generationx mentioned, even *if* they were going back to Le Mans, it would take a couple of years to spool up. There were lots of rumours floating around in May that Ferrari were going to use this year's race to announce an LMP1 project, but... nothing. If they didn't announce anything back then, there's ZERO chance they'll be on the grid next year.

Firstly as I said above, I'm not taking the suggestion seriously. It's for fun!!!
I'm pointing out (for FUN) a couple of incidents that happened at the last two Le Mans 24 heures races, and taken a couple more ingredients that have happened from this year and thrown them in a Kenwood Mixer bowl... and came up with this crazy idea and opened it up for a fun discussion!!! It's a what if??? Not a fact!

Secondly, I also stated the only involvement from Ferrari, was building to a customers specification, some sports cars, they wouldn't cost Ferrari anything...
Ferrari would get paid for building them. I know what Piero Ferrari said, but this way it's costing him nothing...

Fernando going bicycling ain't going to " REALLY ruin my day," he can go do what he likes, there will always be someone to fill his seat at Ferrari and any other team he may or may not drive for. I support the driver who drives for Ferrari no matter who he is. I will support Seb next year it doesn't mean I'm his fan, just he's driving a Ferrari. I have had favourite drivers, Gilles Villeneuve, Juan Manuel Fangio, Von Trips, Mike Hawthorn, Schuey... Please note every driver that's been my favourite has driven for Ferrari...
My allegiance is with Ferrari not the driver, if Ferrari were to leave F1, I'd still follow Ferrari and not F1!!!

If I had to take a stab at where Fernando is going, nowhere else but McLaren would be my guess, I think it will happen if not already done for 2015. I think it might be bye bye Jenson.

Trust me. Fernando meant it when he wanted at least one more title to complete his career so he could be immortalized like his great hero Senna. Even though there won't be another Ayrton, ever. But he is the closest we see as a "complete" driver. The difference between Schumi and Fernando at Ferrari were simple. Schumi had the best personnel behind him at all levels. That Ferrari team was a "galaticos" of specialist across the board. Jean Todt scaled Le Mans in 2 years for Peugeot to beat Porsche - that's an incredible achievement. Rory Byrne was neck-in-neck the best designer besides one Adrian Newey. Then you have the brain of the team, Ross Brawn, running strategies that were impeccable. On the engine side, you have a team of Osamu Goto (Then the head huncho on Honda during the Senna years.), Aldo Costa (he was the brain behind the current Mercedes engine), with Paolo Martinelli playing the second fiddle. Then Nigel Stepney joined as the lead mechanic. At the helm, Luca was handling the media as the face of the team. Don't forget that Eddie Irvine and Rubens Barrichello were the highly paid lackeys for him. Plus Schumi did the lion share of the testing and preferences of special Bridgestone tyres for him while everyone else got the specs. When Fernando got here, almost everyone was gone so there was no way that he could do a Schumi repeat.

Red Bull didn't wanted him because they wanted to do things their way - bringing their own talents rather than getting the existing stars. Mercedes were already committed to Lewis and Nico. So logically the only place left is McLaren. Ron had buried the hatchet from 2007 and he wanted Fernando to lead the team back to promise land with Honda. For Fernando, it is the last kick at the cat. Now the choice of his teammate would be interesting given that Ron wanted someone competitive but may not want a repeat of 2007. Then again, Fernando is mature enough to handle this and the only wild card would be the Honda engine coming good right away.

Meanwhile, the fingerboy had to deal with Kimi. Now that he is getting more comfortable with the team and probably want his way with the car in 2015. The fire is still burning inside the iceman and the battle would be intense. For Seb, he used up his mulligan this year and there is no more excuse not to deliver. Problem is within the Ferrari team, other than Fry and Allison, they are so thin in talent in all areas that the pundits would still think that Newey gift wrapped his 4 titles rather than his own driving talent. In this case, both drivers in Ferrari 2015 are under the gun to perform whether the car will be great or be a dog. Anyhow, let's hope the gap to the leading Mercedes would be a bit closer than this year and there will be more sparks outside and inside the big teams.
