Re: F60 Tamiya ferrari wip
hi guys,
after a couple of hard weeks at work and very little motivation to model once i got home, the new season has made me step up a gear made vast strides with the carbon fibre, thanks to the tip of using a hair dryer, and now she is coming together at last still got stacks to do, mainly front and rear wings and final decalling, but i was hoping to have her finished before the race on sunday, not gonna happen me thinks anyway a few pic's for now
cheers phil

Looking pretty good. All wheels on the ground, very encouraging. Did you have to play with suspension
setup at all ? Or did it all work out fine without tweaking ?
Can you get more light for brighter pictures ? Or increase exposure time, so more light makes into
photos.

Re: F60 Tamiya ferrari wip
lez,
i did have to tweak the suspension just a little, but just basically applying pressure downwards on the rear wheels whilst in the air, if you know what i mean. as for more light, i took these at night and with just a desk lamp for extra light. i will attempt to do some shots durring the day now that the nights are pulling out, maybe this weekend, if i dont have my head burried in all the race coverage and watching free practice re-runs on my dvd recorder

Re: F60 Tamiya ferrari wip
well guys she is almost 100% finished. just got the steering wheel to complete once i find a small piece of carbon fibre. I should have entered this into the speed build since i've not had time to do any other modelling Once this is put to bed i will make a start on the fouled up F60 and start converting to a late version That model is already in brake fluid being stripped of its paint Any way here's pic's as she stand right now.
enjoy and comments always welcome.
cheers phil.

The overall looks of the car is very good. I think it looks best in 1/20 than 1/1
Mine is arriving
