Group Build Results
Hi all - just wondering if everyone who started a GB kit could post of pic of how it ended up. Even if it's only 50% complete or some such thing, just give us a showing so the GB wasn't completely pointless.
Cheers,
M

Re: Group Build Results
I never did a WIP on this one because it was box stock and I didn't think it would be very interesting. Finished it a couple of weekends ago, and haven't gotten around to posting the pics - so here's one - the FW14B. Great kit, I've got it's twin in the stash that I would like to do as a full-detail someday . . . .
As for the group build - I'd love to participate in another one. I'm currently doing my first WIP on another forum (non-F1 build, will post some of the more interesting pics here later), so I'll have some experience there as well.

Re: Group Build Results
Funny, I was just thinking the same thing, wondering how the Group Build finished up now that the season's done?
My Group Build subject was the Studio 27 Jordan Honda EJ11, my second S27 kit. I didn't have any big problems, and I think it turned out pretty good. You guys motivated me to complete this one more quickly than normal for me. Have a look.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Group Build Results
Fantastic guys, thanks for putting those up! Hopefully we'll get some more.
Chris: are those wheelnuts Sakatsu brand, the ST27 kit ones, or something else entirely???

Re: Group Build Results
This was as far as my build got.
It is the ST27 Benetton B186:
I set this one aside so that I could concentrate on the FW26.........
Maybe I should pull it back out, after I primer the FW26.

Re: Group Build Results
Hey Cap'n,
The wheel nuts on the Jordan are Sakatsu. They're the best made for the era. I can't find them anywhere anymore, unfortunately, so I bought the entire stock at the local hobby shop when they had them.

Re: Group Build Results
Shame on me.
I did enter the group build but have even less to show than Fuel*Buzzed.
As a matter of fact, I haven't even managed to paint a single part.
Not that I didn't want to, but I have had the same problem as Alex_Kung. Another project got in the way.
But I will continue (and finish) the build of the Benetton B190B I started for the Group Build, after I finish my current project...
So watch out for any progress...
