Pete, Thanks for posting the update and announcement.
After reading the announcement I believe there will be a contest in "09"
Besides the fantastic models I enjoyed seeing old friends that I don't get to see anywhere else.
To me it was the best model event that one could go to.
You have the Tamiya swap meet, the work shops, the RC demos, and the best of the best in model building.
Truly a event worth traveling 500 miles (for me) to go to.

Jeff - That is the way I read it also. I concur on the other assesment. I have always enjoyed working the event and walk away exhaused but very satifsfied. I hope they follow through. They have told us(last year) that they were going to add a new catagory for prior winners. Not competing for the trophy or the trip, but just braging rights. Should be fun to see what the prior winners can do when they go toe to toe.
