Very nice build of an unusal car.
I didn't notice that rear wing before. Looks wicked...but it's definitely not the Monaco version ( bigger rear wings as you suggested...)

fabulous looking build and beautiful finish too. What a great looking car!

It almost looks like a pre-season colour scheme but as it is poor old Tyrrell I guess not, after they lost Elf in the 70's they seemed to really struggle for any decent long term major sponsorship deal. Surprising considering they were such a force in the 70s.

None the less a great looking build. Great Job!

thanks for all the comments and for following along.

seabee, the mirrors are bare metal foil and yes, the colour fluctuates all over the place with the different lighting.

manu, johnny, i'm not sure what kit i'll start next but i want to finish up my S27 FW18 and fujimi GT40.

daniel for taking the pics i just use my desk lamp (really close to the model) and my camera on a tripod which allows me to use a slower shutter speed. the camera has the macro function on which allows me to get really close up. after that it's all luck.

joe, tyrrell ran this all blue livery at monaco (race 3) and mexico (race 4). it ran with the camel sponsorship at france (race 7) and italy (race 12). beyond that i'm not sure. perhaps you're thinking of the 017 which ran at monaco the year before - - an all black car with small camel markings on the top of the cowl and nose.
