Hi all!
Time to update the T4, I completed the gearbox, maybe I will change some black tubes with metal braided tubes.
I used 3d printed rear brakes air intakes by Smirkoff
Then I designed and printed my own exhaust pipes in order to represent the exhausts layout used in the first part of '79 and therefore also in the French GP
and some pics of fitting test

After some sanding, trying to replicate the correct color I primed the 3d printed exhausts with gray primer and then one white primer coat. I did not use any other color, I like the finish of the primer, neither shiny nor matte
I used black carbon pigments to dirty the final part of exhausts

I replaced the plastic ring of the kit with springs
and added springs to the 3d printed exhausts.
Exhausts in place.

Hi Pierluigi,
Your work is impressive!
From the photos, it looks like the mesh over the engine intakes have a layer of transparent material on it. Am I seeing something not there?

Thank you guys!
No CK, I put nothing on the mesh, I suppose it's a reflection/reverb of the camera (I used my phone...), but once I finish the kit, I will have to adjust the mesh over intakes as handling the engine many of them are rotated out of place now.

Very nice looking printed parts, good job on those!
Wish Anthony would post also his final steps of the WIP he started, he should come back as he is a great modeler but i understand why he stopped posting here...
