Did you keep the original paint, by any chance?

Unfortunately, the various pieces of the painted blister packs must be sanded once separated to remove the printing burrs, ... Furthermore, there are small casting defects on the bodywork which require overall sanding to be removed.
In short, to do a good job you have to repaint it, otherwise you will have a poor result...
So the original paint was removed by immersing the pieces in ethyl alcohol for about 24 hours, without damaging the plastic and after completely repainted.

Finally, the kit includes carbon decals for the suspension and wings, but you have to build those for the interior of the cockpit, the steering wheel, the seat and the bottom...

Thanks! Color looks great
Re: Ferrari F2002 Revell 1/12
Well done and nice looking build!
I also made a curbside version as the kit parts don`t fit and left no other chance to get a good result, same way like you did with new paint and additional carbon decals.
The kit is realy bad, but as it is Revell, i did not expect very much and was alarmed for issues. Finaly it was a troublesome build, would not do it again.
So i can imagine the pain you went through to get this result, good job!

The bodywork parts didn't fit together well, so I had to glue the entire monobloc using internal fasteners and then paint it together. The engine was assembled and fixed to the bottom, while I added some plasticard cubes inside the sides to fix microscrews and therefore fix the body to the bottom without needing to glue it. It wasn't easy I had to do several "dry" tests

Congratulations, you did a really nice job.
What wheels did you used? This car has a very strange look with so many spokes on the wheels that came with this kit. Yours looks spot on!
