I'm guessing this model is probably financially out of reach for many people - I know I would never pay the typical asking price on eBay! Luckily, a friend of mine has asked me to build theirs and given permission for me to publish the build on YouTube. The link below is to a video "what's in the box" of this huge 1/8 scale plastic and metal kit.
The owner made a start on it many years ago and I'm hoping to get stuck into the rest of the build before the end of the year. I have no idea how long it's going to take to finish.
Cheers
Mark.

Thank you for the 'tour' of the kit in detail: you might want to check out Design 29s Facebook page as he is also building this kit and making upgrade parts for it: I'm not sure if he offering his parts for sale however.

Re: Rosso 1/8 Ferrari 643
I just finished a super detailed 643 using all of ThunderValleyF1 parts and a lot of massaging, 100s of nuts, bolts, screws, repainted body, every trick I know. I am more than pleased with my build. This gentleman’s exhaust is amazing. The Rosso part requires a lot of work to even make round. His inlets are pretty interesting. Love to see more.

Thanks for the link Eagle. Oh wow, that dude is going next level! Absolutely brilliant work. I won't be re-manufacturing parts like he's doing. I plan to add detail (for its size, the model actually lacks detail IMO) but we (myself and the owner) have yet to decide whether to go down the path of hard-core after market. There's the cost and the availability to consider.Eagle wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 10:26 am Thank you for the 'tour' of the kit in detail: you might want to check out Design 29s Facebook page as he is also building this kit and making upgrade parts for it: I'm not sure if he offering his parts for sale however.

Re: Rosso 1/8 Ferrari 643
I may have some parts for you. I also have some waterslide decals. Good decals are hard to find for this kit. I got the last of the decals Autograph had a while back. The are very good. Some of the kit decals are stickers, as you know. I have a lot of pics, but the model went to the client and I don’t have the time to resize. PM me if you have any questions. I’ve built a bunch of these. I have tips to share.

Brand new decals are available at my shop, see https://www.bestbalsakits.com/tamiya/ta ... umber=4766
Indycals digitally printed the main sheets, microscale silk screen printed the dayglo marl logos and the carbon fibre decals.
