Don’t understand why they keep releasing kits already available
from NewScratch. Unless they make copies, just in resin
It's not a copy. It's new design - think even better than the NewScratch Model.
Why they do the same models like NS I know - the release amount is much bigger and they will sell more because many modeler also have no access to NS.

I've asked them to do W12, that was not done by NS. I am certain many people would have bought it. Instead they did W10, which was already done by NS.
Why would they do that, unless they need NS kit to be released first, so they could copy it later. Of course that is speculation on my part. May be my logic is wrong

Compare the data from Alpha Models and NS and you will see there are no copies. They are completely different models. The RB18 in particular, but also the RB16B, are very good examples of this. I can't tell you why they use existing vehicles, but maybe because NS‘s limited editions. In any case, they are not copies as you think.

I think it’s related to demand and price.
Yes NewScratch released it first, but I presume they produce a limited amount of kits with a high price tag.
Alpha is looking for that market segment that wants a cheaper product, but they have to produce much more kits then NewScratch

I have my 3D printed RB18 model in progress. I will not continue it. I will buy a kit from Alpha model because it looks beautiful.

Is there any chance for you to finish the 3D to make a 1/43 version?

Anyone has printable 3D model of W12 car or would like to work on one ? I can print, but don't have time to complete the model.
If anyone wants to work on it, I can provide base 3D file ripped out from the game. Contact me via PM
