The fuel caps have been engraved on the plasticard using the original Tamiya ones as a template.

Nice build. The paint job is immaculate. Knowing how inaccurate the Protar internal organs are, it's not surprising that you bin them all.
I'm in the midst of restoring a 30 over years old T2 Protar kit which was built in a hurry back then. Will be keeping it kerbside to avoid correcting the inaccuracies.
