1/12th Tamiya Ferrari 641/2

I have had this kit for ages. I forgot how wonderful the later big scale kits from Tamiya are. A joy to construct. Everything fits. This kit was no exception. At one time I had the Perfect Parts kit including the brakes to go along with it. For some unknown reason I sold it years ago. I also had used the kit brakes discs for some past scratch build. I was able to get a Top Studio brake kit for the MP4/6 from Mac. The brakes are pretty much the same, but took some modifying of the calipers to fit. I did not bother to put the insanely small bolts on the hubs. They will be hidden by the wheels. I will paint the body parts and complete the wings over the next few days and it will be complete.

Great choice Dace as there are not much 641 builds around and i fear with the lost of the licence to tamiya, we won`t see any re release soon or better for a longer period of time from any Ferrari models
I also hope that Top Studio will tackle this one as well, will safe my Tamiya kit too the last in that hope!
