Your 1/43 builds are really top notch! I also like the professional looking bases very much. Do you get the nameplates/placards with the kit and car info done by a printer? What is your method to attach the cars to the bases?

Looking forward to your next update here! :)
I don`t have this kit in my stash, but i took a short look at the box art and i think it might work, biggest problem are the wheels i think, they have to be 3D printed, some stance tyres and a bit adjusting on the wheel houses and so on.

Thank you for kind comment, appriciate it!
Yes correct, for the nameplates i went to a local printing shop to get digital prints done, the graphic art work was done by a friend, nowadays by my girlfriend. As they don`t print a single plate, i collected enough to do 5 A3 sized prints, then i cutted them to size, cuttingmarkings have been printed outside of the plate to get the right size.
I attach my models with screws to the baseplates, depending on the ridehight i use spacers to adjust them.

Re: GP`s 1:43 bench/ Senna`s first Formula cars

Post by gp-models »

Today, i present some more Provence Moulage models i did, the early Senna Formula cars, Formula Ford etc. The kits are realy simple and i build them straight out of box.

It was 1981 when he started his first race for Van Diemen Racing, the car was plain white, afterwards it was painted yellow and black. He won the GB championship clearly that year.

In 1982 he went up to Formula 2000, won the british championship and european championship again.

Image

In 1983 he drove a F3 car, won again the championship against Martin Brundle before he finaly jumped into F1 in 1984.

And finaly a Tameo kit of his last F1 car in 1994, the FW 16, we all know sadly what happened.

Hope you like it.

Superb models as usuall from you!
It`s a shame that Provence Moulage is no more producing kits, i realy would like to get some, but there is nothing interesting to me on the market.
Your right, the wheels for the FIAT are a big problem, can`t find anything matching.

And finaly a BBR Mercedes CLK 24h Le Mans 1998

Some models have not the usuall Baseplate descriptions on cause they followed a bit later as i had to wait to get enough prints together like i mentioned somewhere before, makes no sence to print a few badges.
