The cast all in one lubricant system is improved and mounted. I removed the cast tubes and replaced them by copper tubes. Was not easy to drill all the holes in the small parts.

Cast screws at the valve cover were also replaced.

Three major issues in the kit are known and discussed in the forum: 1. the 'bulky' tires, 2. the shape of the tail and 3. the undersized drum brakes.
My solution of the first point:
I turned a tire holder for the lathe.

The width of the tires was sanded now for about 1,5 mm.

Hi,

A pleasure to follow!
I’m waiting for mine and it’s great to have information and a WIP to help.

I was reading the Type 35 Haynes Manual and think that some tires are pretty wide. Not that far from the MFH ones...

Can’t wait to see more.

Great job on the tail. We should send your pictures to Mr. Hiro to show him the meaning of a good job

Some progress for the motor.
I think there are different opinions about the motor surface and so different solutions possible.
because most of the surviving machines are restored. May be, motors got different surface techniques .
Was it flat polished, metal scraped or machine turned in this specific car? I for myself used machine turning and I'm satisfied with the result now.
