1/12th Maserarti MC12
Working on an ABC kit from Italy of the Maserati MC 12. This is an Enzo with body and interior by Maserati. Only 50 made. My friend in Honolulu has one and I am building a model of it for him.
The kit is a curbside thank goodness. ABC kits are not know for there quailty moldings. I did one of their 917 kits in the past. I have finished the interior and the wheels. The tires are very poor and are slicks. Not correct. Motoi is going to cast some pirellis P Zero's from a Porsche Carrera GT to see if they will work.

Nice to see an ABC kit....
I was planning on building their Ferrari 512M.
I was held off from it, because of the poor quality.

Nice start on it, build a few Brianza kits in 1:43, they are realy tough sometimes, etched parts did not fit, a real nightmare!
Looking forward to your progress

Good luck with this one
I have the racing version about done, but the windows wouldn’t fit right
One day I will finish
The body was a lot better than the DBR9 I bought from Motoi

I am worried about the windows. Printed on a flat piece of clear plastic.

Re: 1/12th Maserarti MC12
I have been laying off this one for a long time. With the COVID shut down, I have no excuse not to work on it. I made some great progress this week. i painted the body with Tamiya Pearl White, which is close to the real car. Used Tamiya Blue for the bottom. The masking was a challenge for my limited masking skills. Building the Williams FW14 helped in this area. The way the progress is going, I should have it done in a week or two. Looking forward to delivering it so I can take my nephew up to see my friends car collection.

Dave, great work on this car!
That last picture is killing me, I had tickets booked since December to arrive in Hawaii tomorrow but alas, the quarantine requirements have us putting our trip off until 2021. Beautiful view though, the car and the water!

I think the quarantine for visitors will be lifted next week. Please let me know when you make it to Honolulu.

Oh man, what a view to the ocean.
How does the flat window worked on your build?
