Hello modelers,

I was diligent the last weeks. So I'm able to show you some progress. At first I finished the exhaust system, that was fun. I love the different shades of blue and red and yellow. Would call it the rainbow technique :D . After that i worked nearly 3 weeks on the under tray. So much attempts failed, but now this part is finished, except the wooden plate. Also the gearbox and rear brakes were completed. I was adding a TS Brake Set, coz the MFH brakes doesn't look good enough. I'm totally proud of the rear shafts, I experimented a lot with the right orange or red for the intakes of the shafts. From my pov it works :D. But there were also some bigger problems, adding the sidepods causes several fitting problems with the cowling. Its quite impossible to close the chassis with the cowling. Seems there is a lot of work waiting..

Overall the kit is ok, but its not comparable to an Tamiya Kit, e.g. the MP4/6.

But enough words, here are the pictures:

That's looking great!
I can't look at my kit right now...are the engine intake trumpets machined in the kit or did you replace them?

It all looks very 1:1, great job on the painting, decals, clears, and details.

Amazing work. The detailing of the under tray and the CF work on the car looks amazing. Looking forward to seeing this build come to a conclusion.

Thank you guys :)

@jaykay: fortunately the trumpets are machined. Unfortunately (fortunately for us) there is a lot of space for your improvements on other parts

Excellent modeling! I really like the way you finished the monocoque. Looks very realistic. Thanks for sharing your project. :D
